BELTS

BELTS: Available in cloth or paper backing using Aluminium Oxide, Silicon Carbide or Zirconia Alumina grains, with a unique bond system designed to withstand severe applications, CUMI’s range of narrow and wide belts find extensive usage in various industries for operations ranging from heavy stock removal to fine finishing.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN METAL CLOTH BELTS: Made with “X” wt cotton backing with Aluminium Oxide grains and Resin-over-Glue bond, these belts are used in Metal working and Plywood industries. The inter grain spacing is specially controlled to retard loading and the bond system is designed to withstand the heat generated. These belts are ideally suited for light stock removal operations where the required belt speed is less than 4000 sfpm.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN PAPER BELTS: Made with “E” wt paper backing with Aluminium Oxide grains, these belts are best suited for dimensioning and finishing plywood. The uniformity of the paper backing on which the abrasive is coated ensures superior finish and is stretch-free.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN CLOTH BELTS: These are made with “X”, “J” wt cotton cloth with Aluminium Oxide grains, with a specially formulated bond giving a cooler cut. These belts are ideal for use in the Metal Working Industry for applications ranging from heavy stock removal to finishing.

SILICON CARBIDE RESIN CLOTH BELTS: Made with “X” wt cotton cloth, Silicon Carbide abrasive, Resin-over-Resin bond, these belts are used for grinding and finishing of glass, stainless steel coils, non-ferrous metals, etc. The friable nature of the grain provides a sharp and consistent cutting edge. Water proof cloth belts in Aluminium Oxide and Silicon Carbide are also available for applications where water or water based coolants are used.

ZIRCONIA RESIN CLOTH BELTS: Made with “Heavy duty” cotton backing, tough high performing Zirconia grains and specially formulated Resin, these belts are used for heavy stock removal operations and for grinding hard-to-grind metals. The unique feature of the grain combined with the special resin bond system ensures a cooler cut.

PROCESSED CLOTH

CUMI manufactures superior quality 'J' WT, 'X' WT plain weave and ready-to-coat cloth for the coated abrasive industry. These are available in varying sizes upto a maximum width of 52" (1320 mm).

With completely integrated operations ranging from cloth weaving to finished cloth manufacturing, together with strict process monitoring, CUMI ensures consistency and high quality standards in the cloth processed by it.

Besides being the market leader for processed cloth in India, CUMI also exports it to major international markets.

DISCS

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN FIBRE DISCS: These are made using strong vulcanized fibre with specially treated Aluminium Oxide abrasive and a heat resistant bond. Available in grits ranging from 24 to 120, these versatile discs are ideal for heavy stock removal and finishing operations in Auto OEM’s, body shops, General Engineering and fabrication shop.

ALUMINIUM OXIDE RESIN PAPER DISCS: Made with strong “E” wt backing paper, tough Aluminium Oxide abrasive and a specially formulated heat resistant bond, CUMI’s discs are used for finishing wooden patterns in foundries, finishing samples in metallurgical analysis, wooden floor maintenance and finishing.

Spindle Mounted Mops & Flap Wheels

CUMI's spindle mounted mops and flap wheels are versatile, high performing abrasive tools for grinding, deburring, cleaning and polishing of small diameter tubing, concave and convex surfaces, small openings, channels and recessed areas on a variety of surfaces.

Rolls

CUMI’s Paper and Cloth backed rolls find extensive use in cleaning, de-rusting and finishing various types of material. These rolls are manufactured using either Emery, Aluminium oxide or Silicon carbide grains with specially formulated resins and compatible backing suited for optimum performance in wood, leather, plastic, metal and glass industries. Rolls are available in grits ranging from Extra Coarse (G24) to Super Fine (G220).

Nonwoven

CUMITX is a three dimensional non woven abrasive material used for conditioning and cleaning of surfaces in preparation for the application of coatings, lamination and plating. The major areas of application are in Automobile, Aerospace, Holloware, Electronics, Sanitary ware, Wood working and Fabrication industries.

Sheets

CIMSTAR™ - Semi Synthetic fluids

Performed chemical emulsions containing 5-30% mineral oil corrosion inhibitors and wetting agents/ Product concentrates are diluted with water to form stable, translucent mixes.

CIMPERIAL™ - Emulsion Type Fluids

Premium soluble oils containing 30-70% mineral oil, corrosion inhibitors and wetting agents/ Product concentrates are diluted with water to form milky, Opaque emulsions.
