TOTEM

Precision Tools, a division of Forbes, began its journey with the manufacturing of Spring Lock Washers and expanded its capabilities to manufacture a range of precision cutting tools under the brand name of “TOTEM”. The division has 3 plants – Two in Mumbai and one in Aurangabad (300miles from Mumbai) and employs more than 500 people. Our goal at Forbes & Company Ltd. has always been to provide you with more than just cutting tools because cutting costs shouldn't mean buying cheaper tools.

HIGH SPEED STEEL TAPS

‘Totem’ make high speed steel taps are made from first class steel in various grades such as M2, M35, M42, etc. These are broadly divided into Hand Taps and Machine Taps categories. We offered big range to cover almost all the thread forms and sizes.

SOLID CARBIDE TOOLS

‘Totem’ Solid Carbide Endmills manufactured from 12% Cobalt Micrograin carbide are an excellent choice for many milling applications. These Endmills are offered in Square and Ball Nose. The range is offered both in Metric and Inch.

ROTARY BURRS

Totem Tungsten Carbide Rotary Burrs Are Manufactured For Use In Severe Condition Like On Tough & Hardened Steels Eg. Nimonic Steels, Stainless Steels, Stellite, Hard Bronze Etc. The Burrs Have Positive Cutting Edges Which Can Cut Much Faster. Extensive Usage In Die Casting Workshop, Foundries, Forge Shops Etc.

CARBON STEEL TAPS

‘Totem’ range of Carbon Alloy Steel taps are known worldwide for their excellent quality. We are one of the largest producer of Carbon Taps around the world. We export more than 50% of our total production. We also do contract manufacturing for some of the very well known and prestigious brands.

DIES & DIES NUTS

The Dies are offered in Carbon Alloy and High Speed Steel. We have large manufacturing facility to produce both round as well as hexagonal Dies. We offer very versatile range staring from 13/16” to 4” OD.

SPRING WASHERS

Spring Lock Washer is a product with firm grip helps to eliminate rattling in equipment to reduce wear & tear. It ensures secured fastening of nuts and bolts under severe working conditions.
